Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles
In 1881, Rowntree introduced fruit pastilles.
They contain fruit juice, have no artificial colours or flavours and are available in five flavours: lemon (yellow), lime (green), strawberry (red), blackcurrant (purple) and orange (orange).
The Fruit Pastilles are slightly softer than the Fruit Gums and are surrounded by a thin layer of sugar.
