Kelloggs Rice Krispies
Rice krispies are made from crispy rice and sugar paste, formed, cooked, dried and roasted.
They expand and form very thin and hollowed out walls that are wonderfully crispy.
When milk is added to the Krispies, the walls tend to collapse, creating the crackling sound.
The slogan "Snap, Crackle and Pop" was used in 1939 when the cereal was advertised as "staying crunchy in milk or cream and not getting mushy.
Snap! Snap! and Pop!, the animated cartoon mascots for Rice Krispies, were invented by illustrator Vernon Grant in the 1930s.
Kellogg's Rice Krispies were first launched in 1927 and remain a staple of the English breakfast table today. They are loved by children and adults alike for their delicious taste and comforting crackle and crunch.
Each Rice Krispie is made from one grain of rice, each bowl of this product is packed with enough carbohydrates to keep you going until lunch.
