Tetley Original Tea
In 1837, the Tetley brothers from Yorkshire also entered the tea business. Tetley Tea quickly became very popular throughout England, and so the brothers Joseph and Edward Tetley expanded their tea to the USA in 1953. There they were the first tea manufacturers in the UK to sell their tea in tea bags.
